I found the depths of my cruelty when I tubed out a prime young dog, and planned to save the hams for my alma mater's annual wild game feed.  They stank so much, i couldn't go through with it.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I have eaten many disgusting things but yote may be a bit much. Think about what they eat! That is basically one step away from eating it yourself...

Huh,... what they eat?  Eating rabbits, grouse and mice cant be all that bad...  I think folks get too hung up on what something eats..... As stated elsewhere on the board.... Look at what catfish, halibut and sturgeon eat....they are still good eating.....  :dunno:

You forgot to include... Rotten meat, rotten eggs, garbage and my personal favorite; cat poop (and just plain cat i suppose). Maybe that doesn;t make people go yuck, but it does here

Cat recipe's

6 cougar chops
1 stick sweet butter
Salt, pepper, powdered thyme
1 cup bread crumbs, sifted
1 cup beef broth
1 cup dry white wine
1 onion
2 cloves
1 garlic clove
1 bay leaf
2 celery stalks
2 tbsps. parsley, minced
2 tbsps. shallots, minced
Splash of lemon juice

Melt the butter in a cassrole dish, then brown six cougar chops that have already been seasoned with salt, popper, and powdered thyme. When the chops are brown, remove and keep hot. Next stir a cup of sifted bread crumbs in to the butter in the cassrole, cooking them over low heat until golden. Put the cougar back into the cassrole and pour the beef broth and white wine over the chops. Correct the seasoning and add the onion, whole with 2 cloves stuck into it, 1 whole clove of garlic, 1 bay leaf and 2 celery stalks. In a 35oF degree oven, bake the covered cassrole for 45 miniutes. Now sprinkle the cougar chops with a mixture of shallots, parsley, and chives mixed with alittle lemon juice, and cook uncovered for 15 miniutes. Remove from the oven and remove the bay leafs and skim the fat off the surface, then serve, with salad and piliaf............................Enjoy
