i did not say red wolf.  They're not red wolves, they're gray wolves from BC, often referred to as "red legged" wolves.  So far, there has been no genetic link to the YNP wolves found.  You should try to collect some DNA evidence and prove everyone wrong.

I suppose if they ever find another wolf pack in the M Valley it will have whatever DNA wdfw pulls out of the bag.

Wolf Haven is my only choice, dont see it on the list.   Or how about a kennel behind the Governors Mansion.

I think everyone should stop crying and complaining on here about the wolves and do it someplace it matters, like the WDFW and polititions or whoever we need to. And cram our complaints down there throats so far they will have to listen or they'll choke.  Either that or get out there and start doing some serious SSS

Many of us are doing something about the wolves is Washington, how bout you, have you written letters called? made a pain in the ass of yourself to the people who might be able to change things????

I am!  Some actually take the time to send you a nonform letter.  I am form letter vs form letter battling with several.  See how long it takes them to have an aid blow smoke up my hinterand.  I come on here for more ammo and to realize I am not alone.

I can't believe that anyone would think that wolves belong anywhere that there are people.  where people camp and enjoy the great outdoors, this is absurd. I already have to watch my back because of bears and cougars, and I've had close calls with both. Now I'll have wolfs to watch out for too!!!!! Whats really maddening is that these people putting wolfs here are going to ruin the areas that I consider my back yard. where I love to take my family and children horseback riding camping and hunting. How well would you sleep at night knowing theres a pack of wolfs out side your tent?  I'm so mad my forehead is on fire, every time I read these posts I get all worked up. Our wilderness areas are challenging enough without adding wolfs to the equation. Besides my horse doesn't like bears, and I don't think he would like wolfs either. All kidding aside this is truly sad to see what is being shoved down our throats. Its not right what these people are doing. I applaud all you guys that are trying to stop this.

I have had a uncomfortable situation in NE wa with something that made a panting noise and fallowed me.  Got fallowed by a sow B. bear in Montana (no guns on me) and have probably been watched by a cat.  I am pretty sure all of us have been watched by a cat and not known it.  By far the panting incident ruined my day the most, I was no longer king of the forest, second place on the food chain.  About 100 yards from me was a wolf kill and there was dog poo everywhere.
I think wolves have there place, where people dont go, ie canada.  Why were there no wolves here?  Our great grand parents killed them and they either moved on or got shot.  Seemed to be ok 80 years ago, whats wrong with it now?  Anyone eles have a tough time in ne wa for deer?  If ya think about the increase dog and cat population could led to a decrease in prey population?  Anywho there are no wolves in wa.... just big yotes :)

Since polls are rated so highly by the press, we can all now see where wolves truly belong in Washington. :chuckle:

I like the answer "zoo" That would be the only responsible place to have wolves. I sure dont want them in the wild!
