What don't you like about it? I see a lot of newbs buting it and havent heard a bunch of negative feedback. Just curious.

One thing I don't like is that your stuck with the sounds in the call and can't change.

Not looking at buying one just curious about what you disliked.

To answer your question, I don't have a Spitfire but do have a FX3 and love it. The guys at Foxpro are top notch too. My PC wouldn't download some sounds I had ordered and they walked me through step by step. They didn't make me feel like the *censored* I am.  :chuckle:

I'm looking to get either the Spitfire or the Johnny Stewart PM-4... a little more research before I decide.

Have you been over to Predator Masters Forum?  They have a pretty in depth review of several of the calls.  One thing that is unanimous over there is the top notch customer service with FoxPro.  I just ordered the Foxpro Scorpion, should be here Monday.  Can't wait!  Also here is a great site to order electronic calls and sounds from:  http://www.allpredatorcalls.com/

I have the Fury. It's a good call but man does it like to eat the hell out of batteries. 8 AA are good for a bout 3-4 stands and then done. To be honest i really only use about 10 sounds. I kinda wish i would have just stuck with the FX3 i bought in the first place. I'm not fully conviced that my $600 purchase was worth the money.

Thats a real bummer. I wonder why. I've never lost power with the fx3 except for one time when I forgot to re charge it. Wonder if you have a problem thats draining the batts. You ever call Foxpro and ask them if it's normal.

If that is normal I'd definately be pissed. I'll be interested in hearing what they have to say. I'm going to send back my FX3 and upgrade to the FX5 after this season is over.

Your right about the sounds though. 32 is plenty for me but for some reason I just keep convincing myself more is better. Avtually I want more sounds just so when I do try for yotes, cats, bears, etc I don't have to keep switching them around.

The powerdog has no volume. Also remote has a mind of its own. They also claim a remote range of 100 yards its more like 20 yards. The reason I'm interested in spitfire Because I only need about 6 sounds.I asume it is same quality as the Fury. I hope.

i'm sure the sounds will be fine. I'm sure that it will call in some dogs. Just make sure you have some hand calls for backup

I upgraded from the 3 to the 5 last August or so. The turn around was like two weeks and no hicups. Glad I did it but for the money I could of sold the fx3 add the $215 upgrade money plus maybe a little more and have the fury. 20/20 hindsight I guess
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.
