Didnt tag out, but still has been a hell of a season.....
« on: December 14, 2009, 03:19:33 PM »
Started in August with 4 small bear hunting trips had some close calls.
September 1st with my bow hunted 6 days hard for the opener.
Then went over for opening muzzy season in Bremerton near hoods canal for 4 days.  Hunted hard and my buddy Ed got a bear.
Then hunted 4 days mod firearm.
Then hunted Elk for 10 days with family.
Then some late weekend day trips here and there.
Went this last weekend with my bow and not much luck again.
I have had a blast with this Multi-Season tag and i am definitely gonna put in for it next year.
I figured that i have been in the woods hunting a total of about 30 days not bad considering my work schedule and money.

I am gonna try and get out to the 454 a few more times before the 31st but all in all it was a great hunting season.
I learned a lot and saw a ton of new country.  :hello:
Congrats to all those that tagged out, my day will come.

That's right, your time will come.  Good luck the rest of the season.  You have time.

Lol, Had a great season too. Spent the whole early archery season in the woods on the east side. Missed a cow my first morning at about 30 yards. She kinda took off as I let go the trigger.

Then had a pesky 6 x 6 called into 30 yards and 2 days later broadside at 15. He is VERY lucky I did not have a tag for his ass.

Very exciting season but no elk. did get my Blackie though first morn of Modern out near Pt townsand.

Cant wait till neaxt year!

BTW. Nice Hoodies!
