Powder for Primers Anybody?

Anybody have a surplus of primers they'd be willing to trade for powder?  Maybe a pound of powder for a brick of primers... or whatever you think is fair?

I could trade some IMR 4350, IMR 4831 or RL 22.

Federal 210
Federal 215

Sportco had primers last time I checked.  Wholesale Sports has gotten a lot more stuff in, I am guessing they do as well.

It's not neccessarily difficult to find primers. Just not the ones I might currently be looking for. I have a couple thousand extra small pistol and small pistol magnum primers. Not what he's looking for, and he doesn't say where he's at. Hazmat shipping fees usually make the long distance trade not worth it. I wouldn't mind having a few hundred Fed215's either. Large pistol primers seem to be on the shelf most often, but I haven't seen a CCI primer on a retail shelf for two years. Seldom any Rem primers. Most often Fed or Win primers within the last year.

the sitution is.... no sitution. lots of primers. i carried a 1000 large rifle home for smdave last summer when it was worse for you guys.  the price for primers is about the same as far as numbers go but thecost is in euros making them cost about 1.5times what they cost in the state, which i guess is better than no primers at all.

Well, I don't know where you guys are finding the primers I listed above, I'm down in the Portland/Vancouver area and we haven't been able to find those, or any others except 209 shotgun primers for the last year and a half.

I am hitting Sportsman's, Wholesale, Fisherman's, Bi-Mart, etc. on a regular basis and just get blank stares.  I've even had a back order with Cabela's for the last 9 months with no luck on primers, though I did finally get the powder.

I'll keep at it, but it don't look too promising?

Although the Federals are more scarce. I am finding plenty of CCI primers in Large magnum rifle and the like. I have been getting bricks for 44 bucks with tax at my Bow shop. He stocks a bit of reloading stuff too.

He is near Belfair though. Kind of a jaunt...

Sportco has been ok. But your limited on how many you can buy if there not stocked up good. But they have had some Fed. stuff.

Keep an eye on nachezshooterssupply.com and midsouth.com.  You have to be quick however.

With it being hard to get primers, rifle primers anyway, I've been using Wolf primers.  They seem to work well for me, I just ordered another 2k large and 2k small rifle primers from Wideners.com  Pistol primers havent been a problem at all for me.

Sportco does still have some but they have a limit of 200 primers per person. Getting irritated with their stupid new policy's, same limit for a lot of their pistol ammo as well (2 boxes per person).

Joe's in the Lewis County Mall has Federal large rifle primers and Sunbirds in Chehalis has CCI small rifle primers as of 12/19
