« on: December 28, 2009, 02:56:22 PM »
:bdid: Purchased $25 rec card from yakima training center spent 2 days hunting that area logged in 125 miles set up many stands for coyote never saw one. for that matter 2 days of being there we saw 3 crows 4 jack rabbit and that is it! we walked several areas and never seen any fresh scat lots of old rabbit scat no deer or coyote scat to be found. has anybody else had this experence at the yakima training center or did we just have horrable luck?  the weather was clear and very cold a low of 3 degrees to an aveage of 25 degrees. no wind  what gives?  maybe nothing there to see >:( :twocents: :bdid: :yike: :( ;) :dunno:

Don't get the poll choices.

There is less sign at ytc this year. the least number of coyotes we have seen in years. I called a few in but had to work hard at it. Deer numbers are down too. YTC and surrounding areas have been hit hard with increases in predator hunting popularity.
There is the possibility of wolves being present now.
