2006 Bear Bows
« on: January 16, 2008, 11:51:10 AM »
I did a search on the site and didn't get any hits.  Apologies ahead of time if this has been covered.

Anyone shot any of the 2006 series Fred Bear compounds.... Code, Instinct, Element?

There are some pretty good deals on these bows new right now.  I'm most interested in the Code and the Instinct.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

I've heard quite a bit of good, actually.

The element was rated one of the best buys for lower-level compound bows.

If you can get a good deal, jump on it. I don't think you'd be going wrong!
I left it better than I found it...did you?

The only input I have is that you don't remain in this industry long if you put out bad bows.  Wish I had more to offer you.

Appreciate the feedback!!!

I've been doing some checking and I've got in narrowed down to 3:

1.  Hoyt
2.  Bear
3.  Reflex

Don't have my notes handy and I can't recall the specifc models.  Hoyt is certainly nice but spendy.

Same three I have it narrowed to.

I have a 4 year old Hoyt MT/Sport, so I am liking the Hoyt.

I am really leaning towards the Reflex Growler or Ridgline, but the Bear bows are at some really GREAT deals right now.  Wish they would lighten up on the anodized green and orange though............
