I dont know about many,...as I have only seen one, which was last year by Lyman, but I did call it. He was not in season....but I know there is at least 1 up there. ;) Plus when I went up there in the snow a few weeks back, there were plenty of tracks (more than one kitty roaming the area). I am sure we have a few...they are just elusive.

Yes. More than deer in the mountains. Less in the valleys. They don't prefer to be seen.

Yes, and high is good, though most of the ones I have seen were between 300 and 500 ft.

Called one in yesterday and my friend missed at 50 yard. He is so upset that we came home and watched football.

There are more over here than most people will ever know, or admit.

I've seen four since october while out hunting (no small game for me this year).
Got our first bobcat last year--and saw two others last fall as well.

Most of these spottings have been in Mid/Eastern Skagit county where I do the majority of my "adventuring." I have seen a few bobcats and cougar in the hills around Welcome, WA (for those of you that know where that is)  ;)

They are out there!
I left it better than I found it...did you?
I hunt animals because veggies are too easy to stalk.
