Elk Bugling Seminar - Olympic Archery
« on: January 23, 2008, 08:18:44 AM »
I haven't seen this posted, but for those that are interested I was told Olympic Archery is sponsoring a elk calling seminar on January 28th (a Monday) at 7:00 pm. I think Glen Berry is presenting and the cost is $10 which will cover the seminar plus food?. At any rate I will be driving down from Seattle after work and hopefully get a chance to meet a few folks while there.

:) Yeah it was posted about 3 weeks to a month ago.  I will more than likely be their.

I don't think the $10 covers the food but I could be wrong.  I could probably stop by after work and ask the particulars.  Or I'll just have Jamie post it himself.

$10......for what again?  We had Jim Horn from Primos down at the Nock Point, plus food, open to all.....free.  Needless to say the place was packed.  Shouldn't cost anything in my opinion.  Especially coming off the Sportmans Show weekend were there are seminars going on all over.  Oh well.....should be good though.

:) Last seminar I went to their was ASP.  It lasted 2 hours and spilled over after buisness hours.  That is 2 hours he can't use his shooting lanes.  He also had a raffle at the ASP Seminar.  He gave away quite a bit of stuff.  I havn't talked to him about it yet but I may offer a few gift certifiates from my shop for him to raffle in a future seminar.

I'd pay $10 for 2 - 3 hours of BSing about hunting and the outdoors.  It gives me an excuee to get out of the shop!  :chuckle:

The last couple Berry Seminars were well attended. I don't think the $10 covers food, but at the last couple they gave hunting videos with paid admission. So $10 for a video, conversation and maybe a bit of learnin'. Not bad.
