Need To Purchase A New Monitor

My monitor went down last week and am in the process of purchasing a new one.  After days and hours of research, I have been drawn to one particular model.

Sure you can spend mega bucks (hunting lingo) on a monitor, but have come to the realization that there is a lot of "overkill".  I am not a gamer, just enjoy personal photo editing and surfing the net.

The other detail I am finding, is that the "IPS" screen technology is what is needed for pure color!

What are you photo enthusiast using and why?
