A great way to end the season
« on: January 29, 2008, 07:58:54 PM »
I took my son over to the Tri-Cities to hunt with a very good friend for geese on sunday.  We spent a good deal of the morning brushing snow off the decoys but it was a good day.  The travel home was a little hairy with the 6-8inches of snow on top of the 1/2 inch of ice from the freezing rain saturday night down there but it was well worth the trip.  Picture taking was pretty tough in those conditions.  We finished with 10 for the 3 of us, his boy isn't shooting yet.

My boy, my buddy and his boy picking up geese after the last go.

Awesome way to end the season. We also had great success as a finisher on duck here on the wetside. Great pics. Feels cold sitting here looking at them....

That's great! My goose hunting partner and I take our boys whenever they can go, always alot of fun even on slow days. We had a good shoot on Saturday, got 9 geese for the 4 of us plus one duck, had a blast! Sunday we got fogged in.
