Permits wont come out until the new regs come out.

Another tactic is to spread out the expenditures a little bit.   You'll forget the 200 you spent this month when you have to spend another 100 then.

multi season permit scam.oops i means raffle.buy a raffle ticket, once you "win" . you pay again.  if you win a raffle you should not pay twice.it sounds like a Nigerian  lottery scam :chuckle:

That's what I'm wondering about. If you win with the raffle ticket I don't think you pay $160. The multi-season permit you would pay about $160 if you draw. Which is a good thing as it keeps the number of applicants down. But with the raffle there isn't a charge like that, other than if you were to win the raffle for a moose tag, for example, then you would have to purchase a moose tag, which is about $100.

yeah i am pretty sure you don't have to pay the 160 just the money you spent on the tickets and the reg price license but like said the moose goat sheep is extra if you get drawn

And I sure won't be complaining to the DFW if I have to pay $100 for a moose tag this year!

I'm thinking once we see the new regs finalized we will have better chances to draw a raffle tag.  Those of us who have drawn tags recentley might not ever see another one when they give everybody their points into each sub category they are creating.  For those of you who get all your points applied to buck, bull, cow, antlerless, quality, second tag and quality CONGRATS! For the rest of us we will all wait until you get done weeding through the 7X extra points the state is doling out.  At least my son will get some extras.  While I'm bitching,  I sent an e-mail to wdfw to make the out of state guys start having to pay more to apply.  There is no reason we should be one of the few states that allows out of state guys to apply on the cheap.  If you agree send them an email also.  If we are so poor in this state they might as well whore out for some more help.
