I thought there was a couple of them in the classifieds. Check with Sisu if not. He had one for sale a while back for sure.

I saw one at Cabelas the other day, laminate thumbhole stock $189.00 in the pre-owned section.

I will call them, thinking maybe a savage as they can come with the thumbhole stock?

The Savage would be a great choice! I have a Marlin and really like it! Of course the Marlin dose not have a thumbhole stock. PS, I fixed my type-o.  :chuckle:

Thanks for the link phool, could not get it to open, most likely my work puter.
I called cabelas, man has customer service gone out the window nowadays, got hung up on twice while being transfered, finally got to the pre-owned (used) department, guy told me nope dont have one for that price or with a thumbhole stock and could not remember if they sold one recently? Put me over to new and well he just rattled off everything they had quickly, put me on hold to see if any had a thumbhole stock and i got disconnected again, so i gave up.
I will keep looking.

There were a few for around $300, including scope, on seattleguns.net  I haven't checked to see if they were still available but there were like 3 or 4 of them.  Marlin and Savage, blued and stainless.  Good luck!

Hey Buckmark, I may be down that way tomorrow and if I am I will stop in and check again. There was one there Friday so maybe they sold it this weekend. Maybe KillBilly or someone that lives close could stop and check it out?
