I've gone twice lately and haven't had any luck. Anybody else doing any better. I fish up by Marysville.

there stilly should have some in there right now. its hit and miss at best. one day you might hook a couple or 7 and then go weeks without a fish let alone a bite.

Went to the multnohma channel again this last friday. The weather was perfect even seen a few bald eagles. Fishing was just that fishing no catching still felt good being on the water.

Well good luck to you all. I agree, any time on the water is good time spent. Had it been open for crab I would have taken home a limit. Must have brought at least a dozen to the boat, many more came off. 6 were keeper size, with 2 over 7 IN. Unfortunately they'll probably all be fished out by the time the white mans season comes around.

here is a couple from Drano I caught. I had one on that was about 5 foot long. I got it along side the boat and it snapped my line off. Most of them were smaller ones but fun to catch. We caught 8 in one night while we were fishing for steel head.

Hey Pete, haven't heard from you in a while. I haven't forgotten about ya. Yes i have a boat, full canvas, gear, even places to go, Just haven't had much time. When I did get time I couldn't find fish. Hopefully next w/e I'll be able to get out. We haven't had very good tides lately, I hope we get some good lows during daylight hours. If I keep hearing about these 30 fish plus days, I might have to go down to the Columbia!

Nice Job Tonto, Do you fish shallow water, or out in the deeper channels? I fished the Columbia one time years ago and didn't like fishing the big tackle in deep water. Too much like work, like halibut fishing in Neah Bay. I like fishing the shallows up where I live, however I haven't had any 10, 20, 30 fish days like you guys down south. I may have to toughen up and head down.
