My dad took these pics back in upstate NY on the Hudson River recently.

Bald eagles are a beautiful animal and i have always admired them.
It was cool when we took a cruise to Alaska. When we pulled in to Ketchican the eagles covered the shore line and jetty like the seaguls do here. it was amasing to see hundreds of them in one are like that.

That fellow in the boat will feel funny (and cold) if that bird is guarding a meal!. Nice pics. gives you some idea how big they are.

Sorry...had to make a quick post and go work.
My dad's a volunteer for the Hudson River Preservation Society or something like that(read old hippy) and he is a kayak tour guide on the river. he got these pics on a tour.
