Do any of you guys remember the shop on Highway 410, about halfway between Buckley and 214th?  It was owned by a guy who was retired air force and shot a recurve.  He had a huge russian boar on the wall.  Last time I shot there was in 1994 before I went to college.  He was really nice and helpful and did a great job.  I just can't remember the name of the shop or owner.   :bash:

If I wanted a good trad bow

Yeah, but if you wanted a GREAT ONE, you'd have a Sapphire Hawk.

With your track record Bone....................I suppose I would have to agree. Even though I really really like the Silver tip.  :)

Don't know of it, might be good or great, just flippin ya.   I would like to think I am smarter than Tiger  Woods, Once you find the perfect lady, in this case bow, you shouldn't keep looking for a better piece of, in this case wood. :)

I do want you to be careful though.  Physics is Physics, and it isn't very forgiving.  Good luck in your quest. Make sure its not a form of self destruction though.

When metallic cartrage reloading first became popular, there were lots of folks who tried to "make it better" by using higher pressure propellants and light weight projectiles in their ammunition.

Those who were meticulous in record keeping and measurement of arm and fired cases escaped serious injury. However, they invariably destroyed their firearms (prematurely wore them out from flame etching throats or pounded bolt lugs into submission) if they were lucky.

If they weren't lucky, they had a trip to the hospital.

No, I don't bungee jump either.
“The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter can not be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles.”
