New Reloader
« on: February 24, 2010, 01:27:54 AM »
I was wondering if any of the seasoned reloaders on this site would be willing to mentor a new guy to the hobby?  :dunno:

I have already read The ABCs of Reloading and my Lyman 49th Edition Manual more than a few times. As a matter of fact, I already own my press and accessories. I have the video that shows everything to reload, I just think there might be a bit more to learn from someone who can answer questions in real time versus the video.

I live in the Bothell, Mill Creek, Lynnwood area and would appreciate any help that might be offered. Thanks, Maligator  ;)

I would be happy to help out but I live so far away that it may not be practical. If you have questions I would be glad to answer them. If you want my phone number, PM me and I will provide it.

Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

the best advice I could offer is.......always lube cases that don't go in a carbide die, never substitute components and expect the same pressures, expect to buy a few different powders, never load a large volume of ammo if you have changed anything and expect the same results.

Go slow and try not to have any distractions! Follow the reloading manuals. Have fun!
