Worst shed hunting trip ever
« on: March 08, 2010, 04:59:23 PM »
so went  shed hunting on sunday. get to where were going and relize forgot my camera oh well no biggie. about 15 minutes  in i see some thing 5 does heading my way walk within 10 yrds of me and one of them looks funny. Well its a piebold doe coolest thing ive ever seen. Watch it for a while and sneak out the back door to find some bone. Walk for about a hour and theres some more deer about 35 or 40. Look em over to see if anys still packin nope, then i see something in the brush. Its another piebold but this one has nubbins. well crap good thing i forgot my camera two piebolds in the same day whats the odds. Anyway get to where were all suppost to meet up and noones there. Give them an hour and still nothing. Call my brother on his cell no answer call up my buddy no answer. Decide to work my way back to the truck buddy calls me and says better hurry. Get back to the truck and my brothers new girlfriend (1st date, shed hunting) has her head all wrapped up. Ask what happened bro and her were walking and she fell off a waterfall and cut her head. Off to the ER they go 4 staples later shes good to go. Brother did manage to find a year old 3 point though
