Sorry if This was posted before but I was just browsing the proposed new permits and it seems to me that they have taken away  some of the sept. rut hunts for rifle.. Am I reading this wrong?

Yeah i saw that too ross.  I mentioned something about it in some other post, but no one really griped much.   I have no clue why they would get rid of the best elk tags you can draw in this state.  I assume you are talking about getting rid of some of the rut tags in the blues?  Doesnt make sense, yet they increased the number of rifle permit tags for the Dayton unit.

yeah those were the ones I was referring too. Not sure I understand why. Probably had to do with other groups getting mad but it is only one tag why cant they hunt  at the same time?  anyway yeah added 10 more permits that increases our chance  of getting drawn... Right
