How do you check the drawing?  I know its not out but it would be nice to know!  Got multi season for deer in elk in washington, all I need now is my Montana Tags and I'll be hunting for 6 months straight!

Well, I guess I'll be taking a little time off and hunting every weekend.  My Montana app is saying draw not run yet?  That is odd since you guys have a "Pending" comment on yours?  Thoughts?

"Pending" should be the heading above "Draw not complete yet".

Well I got drawn for the big game combo.... *censored*ty thing is, I dont think im going to be able to go this year. There were going to be three of us going for the first time this year. Two of my coworkers any myself. Here comes the problem. We found out last week that two of my other coworkers decided to get their wifes prego at the same time and they are both due the week that we were planning on going to montana (Nov 5-12). Now due to state laws, they are able to take up to three months for maternity leave even though they are both men. Last year each one of them took a month off. I work for a small department and even when one person goes on vacation or calls in sick, that leaves one guy single shifted to cover the streets. So basically im screwed!  :bash:   I cant go by myself, becuase I have no idea of the area. I also dont know anyone else that goes to Montana. I looked at the rules for declining the tag and they will only send you money back in specific situations (death in family, death to you, medical emergency). Im not comfortable about lying and potentially getting into trouble.

I really dont want to loose out on almost $700.. I make decent money and $700 is still alot of money. I dont really know of what my options are. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.. Thanks.. I really just want to shoot a nice Montana deer, im not to worried about shooting an elk.

I think you can turn the tag back in for like 80% refund.  At least you used to be able to do so.
