Clean Pistol Powder Question???

I'm reloading for 45 ACP. I'm using Win. 231. My gun is black as hell from shooting. Is this just normal? I also have Unique but haven't tried it yet. I've heard some powders are cleaner then others. What you say?

I have always used Bullseye, not the cleanest, not the dirtiest burning powder, but the load is very good, for cast SWC.

I also use a lot of Bullseye for lite loads. I find it pretty dirty. Mothers Mag Wheel cleaner takes that black off real easy on stainless guns. makes them look brand new.
