Try the boat Slammer in Westport.  The owner is the son of a friend of mine and they usually do very well on bottom fish and lings.  Now is the time to go.

I went on a charter in the sound with Posession Point Charters...Dave Morgison maybe? good times and a good captain, but we only caught a few smallish  lings. I don't think I'd go on a charter again in the sound though....fortunately I didn't pay for it . I think you have to go to the ocean for sure.

I have always gone out with Tradewinds out of either Depot Bay or Newport, OR.  Good people, they get you on the fish quick, and you have a blast.  The deck hand/bait boy is usually a riot, and very out going.

By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

One of the best skippers we have ever fished with is Mike who runs Jambos Sportfishing out of Neah Bay. Hands down you will not find a harder working skipper and deck hands. I used to guide and still have my inboard sled and I still make time every year to do a trip with Jambos. Check out his website, you will be a repeat customer once you go out on the boat with them. If you watch Hawg Quest, this is the charter that Glenn Hall and crew do the Ling Cod, Halibut and Salmon fishing at Neah Bay on. I am booked with them for my 4th year this Summer   :IBCOOL:
