Michelle,

How long are the screws you are using to mount to plaque to skull?

3 1/2" and 4" I think.  They are 1/4" lags.  Threads reinforced with epoxy.

Did you belt sand the back or make your own cutt???

What do you mean?

Thank u!!

I read somewhere that a guy sand the back of the skull to even out prior to attaching. Ill take some pics, I still need to soak in peroxide.

Why would he have to sand the back of the skull to make it even?  They are all pretty even.  Not off enough anyone is going to notice.

I agree.

How long do you let sit in the peroxide before pulling out?

Depends on the strength of the Peroxide.  Using 27% peroxide I will leave an elk in for 24 hours.  Sometimes if they need it I will let them dry and than put them back in for a couple more hours.

The strongest you are going to find in a beuty salon is going to be 40 Volume Hair Developer @ 12% peroxide.  That will work.  Just brush it on and wrap the skull in plastic wrap and put it somewhere warm.  After 24 hours rinse it off.  Not white enough do it again.
