Some real stud bucks there Bone, but I am sure the biggest one's you've seen still live in your memory for sure, and I don't mean a card memory.  The one's that got away thread is great by the way.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

Bone those are some hogs, and as usual fantastic photo's.  I have not seen most of them.  Thanks for posting.  By the way have you ever been able to collect the sheds on some of those toads, since you watch them all the time?  That would be cool as well.  thanks again Doug for posting.  Keep them coming.

I was looking and looking for a picture of a nontypical but do you think I could find it.   The pictures suck, but they were nice bucks.  I saw them and sent them to Wea300 during his raffle tag hunt.    I have a ton of blurred deer pics from those days.  I remember the first big buck I ever photographed.  I was coming home from my girlfriends in Omak and I spotted the buck on the ridge.  I ran home and no one was home.  I grabbed my moms camera without asking figuring I was dead.  It was a canon AE-1 with only a 75mm lens on it.   I climbed the ridge and came up on the buck at about 15 yards.   He was almost full frame.  I snapped a picture and I could tell somehting was wrong.   The shutter was too slow.  I knew NOTHING about settings.  It was set to B which was like manual exposure.  I knew NOTHING about light meters or anything.   I snapped a roll of film.  I got home, surprisingly, mom wasn't mad.  I ran the film into Ulrichs drug store then waited a week for it to process.   I got them all back.  BLURRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You can hardly tell there is anyting in the photo.   Live and learn.   From that day on the obsession was on.  I managed to get a used Canon AE-1 and I went from there.

Those are sure nice bucks I like to see them in the rut with there necks so swollen. When those horns on the big bucks start to tip out at the top you can tell they are getting a good spread. Big buck pictures and new regulations out everyone is checking on there points and trying to decide where to put in for makes the time go bye a little faster.
