Any of you guys winter blackmouth junkies?

Just wondering if any of you guys fish the sound for winter blackmouth, I see alot of talented river fishermen but haven't seen the diehard salt guys.  I spend alot of time in areas 4,5,7,8.1,8.2,and 9 and catch alot of blackmouth.  Lets hear some thoughts on the hatchery only winter blackmouth changes made in the last 3 years for 8.1,8.2, and recently area 7.

I grew up on the beach at Pt. no Pt. I've fished winter blackmouth as long as I can remember. Area 9 is closed now so I won't be fishing the salt much until it re-opens.

Area 9 is like my home water. I can't hardly fish saltwater anywhere else. Occasionally,I'll hit Pt defiance.

Until it re-opens,I'll be fishing Rufus Woods a lot.

ive fished out there a couple times. i just dont have the boat or salt water knoledge to really know what the heck im doing out there.

My brother and I are winter blackmouth fisherman. We have been doing prettty well in the Tacoma and Vashon area. 30 plus fish since March. Sounds like there is rumor that they may close the fishery due to budget cuts???
