No kidding. I lost a buck on a stalk, I got mixed up on the approach from way up high. He didn't actually move much, probably five yards to place some buckbrush between us, but he had to stand up tall and stretch to see over the brush and try to figure out what I was.....

I ate his liver with some onions, some beer and a salad. Nice pic Doug.

Thanks for sharing all these pictures.  I think a lot of these are better than the Bartlett photo the WDFW used this year.
