My only Taurus was the Large frame 8rd 608 .357 P.O.S. lasted about 800rds of standard ammo then pins started slipping out. The lock up got so bad, sloppy loose, I was afraid to fire it anymore.
But FWIW this was about 1996...

I have a 669 that i bought used in about 98' for 225$ I did have to have a spring replaced but its ate hundreds of rounds. its now our nite stand gun. if in the market I wouldnt hesitate to buy another. For what its worth I also once owned a taurus model 431? (I think that was it
) it was a stainless .44 special w/ a 3" barrel and adj. sites it shot like a dream and olny gave 125$ for it and sold it for .250 but man I wish I had it back!
