If your going up the Rattlersnake, I like the Hindu Creek area.  :twocents:

Or try Deep Creek - go down the road and out towards Twin Sisters Lakes and then go from there.  You'll stay down (a little) in elevation, so maybe you'll be able to stay out of the huge snow drifts.  Take LOTS of mosquito repellent, though.
