Just went through this thread, very cool pics and animals.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

So close Aussie

so today, i park about 100 meters away from a new seat that the forster built near  my area. waltz over to the stand climb on in. infront of me are a couple fo does. there is shooting lanes to my right and left on a gravel road(where i can see my truck, and one lane behind me.

looking around and what the heck, why is there a cow next to my truck....... :yike: oh sh*& thats a boar. try to get up the rifle but couldnt get a solid rest. adjust a board in the stand, get the gun up and look at that, its a big ol grey keiler with obvious waffen probably around 80 kilos and he's walking right for me. I was about to pop him in the noggin when he turned, gave me a broadside, then turned again giving me the ass. meanwhile eyeballing my cherokee looking more and more nervous. he finally gives me a quick broadside but he is about to circle behind my rig, not much time BOOOM.

couldnt find a speck of blood or a patch of hair. must have missed the sumbitch all together in my haste with the rushed shot.  :bash:  unbelievably pissed off all afternoon.  if i would have popped him in the noggin in the first place or had the stand ready to go i could have killed him 10 feet from the truck  :bash:  :bash: :bash:
