Evenings in the Wenas
« on: February 19, 2008, 07:07:27 PM »
Nothing altered about these pics other than size.  Love the color off the front porch.  Nothing like sitting on the porch warmed from the sun, watching Ol'e Glory flying and God paint.

Remember the noise reduction setting in shots like these that can have some "noise".  With that setting the camera takes a second shot and reduces the noise in the 1st.  You have to have a tripod but the shots come out with much reduced noise.  Not that you care for off the front porch shots but you may want a prize winner some day...  Landscape mode helps as well.

Great shots bone.  We don't get that stuff over in Bellevue...

Do you guys know how amazing these shots would be with a bracket of -2, -, +2 and then merged with HDR software?  If you don't have the software send it to Elkman or me.  Or...PM me and I have a solution.

That means I need to set up the tripod. :)  I have elements 6 too Slider.  My mother bought it for me for an un-0birthday gift.  No idea what that was about, but I'll take it.  Then shortly after I got a copy of photoshop 2, whatever thats called.  Still haven't got to play with it much.  I think the big advantage of it is raw, but we will see.  Anyway, I had elements do the auto fix to see what it would do to the pic and the original color was so much better.  Fun stuff though.  I get alot of sunsets in the Wenas, so we'll give it a try.
