Rocky Mtn Bighorn Raffle
« on: June 08, 2010, 12:24:50 PM »
Just a reminder that July 5 is the deadline for buying tickets for the Washington Rocky Mtn Bighorn Raffle.  Download a flyer at www.wafnaws.com.  You can fax it or mail it.  The contact information is available on the flyer.  Unfortunately, we are no longer selling tickets via PayPal.

I will try to upload the flyer here as well.

Thanks

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

That's pretty good odds for a hunt like that.

I think the odds are better than applying for a permit. Especially if you get several tickets.
And like a permit, you don't actually have to hunt. The money goes to help the species, which is the whole point of the raffle.
Gathering is easy. Hunting is a challenge.

Hopefully the money doesn't go to the general funds.

Dang, jumped up to over 900 sold now, they must have tallied all the ones I bought :chuckle:. Still not bad odds though.

Is there someplace we can look at all the raffle ticket sales? Curious how many moose tickets sell this year.

Here is a link to look at past years sales, you will have to do some calculating to get No. of tickets sold, we won't know this years until the dwg is completed.
