Speaking of *censored* Dave, he was happiest when he had 100 lbs on his back.

50Cal, congratulations on a well-earned beautiful trophy bull.  Awesome bull and great story!  You know I've been following the saga through Wea300mag, finally got a minute to drop you a line.  I can only imagine how utterly satisfied you must have felt up there on the mountain that evening when you realized you'd done it.

For the guys that helped out leading up to and following the kill: class act all the way around, gentlemen.  That's sportsmenship in the finest sense of the word.

the raffle tag winners bull was a 7x8. 53 inch main beem, fairly small eye guards (considering the rest of him), the top 4 points on each side were verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry impressive. 45 inches inside at the widest. Extremely thick all the way up. Killed on Sept 25. He started hunting on Sept1. Shot at 13 paces. Tonight the rib steaks were a little chewy but delicious!

You might be right BH45. I've heard that the best Bulls may be on the other side of the Skagit river where no hunting is allowed. The Nook is not a gimme hunt anymore I hear. ;)
