I got a Palouse B tag. Pretty excited actually. I can knock down the doe right away and then look for a buck. May finally be the year to shoot a deer with ...............................

Well I've practiced plenty but don't usually carry around the .44 because with such a short season I don't want to screw up a shot at a buck. Does on the other hand are all over the place on the farm I hunt. Last time I had a doe tag I just couldn't get close enough to seal the deal with the .44. Maybe this year will be different. The buck still gets the .260 though.  :chuckle:

This was going to be my goal as well.  Until I didn't draw a tag, then my bubble burst for the year.
