B tag question
« on: July 07, 2010, 07:23:06 PM »
I drew a Palouse B tag. I assumed that I would have to use a rifle since that what my original tag was. I went online to see if my B tag was available tonight and it was but what was weird was that I can buy a; Archery, Modern, or ML tag. Is this correct? I thought the B tag was a modern second deer tag but it had to be a doe.

Geuss I'll break out the regs and actually read a little something but figured I'd post here and see if anybody knew anything.  I would mind buying a ML tag and lengthening my season a bit.

Forget it. It's amazing what we can figure out if we read a little.  :chuckle:

Quote
You must purchase a second deer tag to participate in this hunt and the second tag can only be used in the permit hunt. The second tag must be the same weapon choice as your first tag. Your first and second deer tags can each be used to take a deer during this hunt. The first deer tag can be used during the special hunt or the general deer season. You may hunt only with the hunting method in compliance with your tag.

You can still use any weapon if your tag is a modern tag, rifle, muzzy or archery.

I'm aware of that but I wanted to hunt in the ML season.
