Finally!...Swakane
« on: June 21, 2010, 06:29:28 PM »
Took me twelve years but it finally happened.  Modern Swakane!  First permit I have ever drawn for any species.  It was my second choice after Entiat.

Same as me.Been waiting since Friday to see if the draw would stick.Put Entiat first. Then Swakane.Draw stuck and I got a rifle permit for Swakane in November.
Umm 4 points though. And the first time Ive put in for a tag on the eastside.I got lucky there.

:yeah:  I've seen a couple of huge bucks that came out of the Swakane during the draw rifle hunt.  Pray for some early snow, but there'll be deer there regardless.  Have a great hunt!

Buck reaper, I live in Universityplace too. I will be shooting at the gun club there starting in July to practice for my tag. I have hunted that area all my life. I can tell you some good places to check out. PM me if you need info

I drew this tag too!  It was my second choice behind Entiat, but wasn't expecting much, I only had 2 points.  I sure hope the weather cooperates, should be a good hunt.  Good luck guys.

Another one of those guys I've heard about.  I don't know how you do it.  Hopefully I won't have to wait another twelve years to do it again.  Congrats and lets get it done.
