.300 WSM Handloads
« on: June 28, 2010, 09:53:45 PM »
So I just put together one hell of a tack driving rifle.  A Sako 85 Greywolf .300 WSM, with a Leupold VX-7 3.5-14x50mm 30mm tube scope.

Anyways, my dad and I also just ordered all of the reloading equipment and are building a reloading bench.  I understand every rifle will like some loads better than others, but what I'm looking at is a 168 grain Barnes TTSX bullet with IMR 4350 for powder.  From the reviews I've read people seem to have good success with these and I like the BC and weight retention of the round.

Anyone worked up this load or any others they'd suggest for the .300 WSM?

Alan K, can you open excel spreadsheets, if so I'll send you what I have worked up.  Fact, if you do a search on my posts you will see loads I've tested in detail.  I've done a bit of testing with my Browning 300 wsm, settled on 168 TTSX, 68.5 grains RL17, CCI250.

Yep, I can open excel spreadsheets.  That would be great if you'd send me what you've found Caretaker!
