Broke my northriver 7ft 9" backbouncer today, I bought it from fishermans a few years back. I broke it at the tip and I live a ways away from fishermans so I was wondering if anyone knew how the warrantys on those poles work nowadays before I drive all that way, any help would be appreciated. and btw I broke it on my ceiling not on a fish  :bash: :dunno:

I bet the warranty would only apply if you broke it under normal fishing circumstances, not your truck door or ceiling...  :dunno:

I have a $250 bass rod I got for christmas and one day when I was showing my buddy the flex the tip broke off in my hand  >:(

I took it down to auburn marine and they put a new tip on it for $2.50.

I probably could have got a complete warranty replacement, but it's only a slight bit shorter and performs great as is.

any possibility that yours is repairable?

Yes I suppose they could do that , I have a lamiglas classic glass I bought for 20 bucks a while back that had had a tip replacment and it performs flawlessly.
