Joel Turner Elk Calling Seminar
« on: July 20, 2010, 12:02:08 PM »
On Saturday, July 17th I was happy to attend an elk calling seminar by Joel Turner at Wholesale Sports in Lacey.  I was very happy to attend a seminar put on my a guy that knows elk hunting in Washington State.  His information was very thorough and specific to hunting Elk in western Washington.  I would encourage anyone that considers themselves an elk hunter to attend one of his seminars.  I believe you will leave being a better hunter than you were before. :twocents:

Key points of the seminar:

-Stopping bull hang ups
-Calling and locating bulls effectively
-Using a call that fits you (diaphragm style)
-Set up
-Strategy (solo hunts, partner, decoys)
-Shooting technique  :archery_smiley:
