Your statement in regards to the mid morning action, is more true for winter months....I'm sure you are right but I havent ever hunted in the winter yet. This was the weekend of 6/25 just last month and I saw these guys at 1030 - 11am out in the 75+ degree sunshine in the Quincy area. 1st dog I ever called in was at about 11am one of those days, and the1st one I've ever shot predatorpro & I found out in a field the next day at around 1030am in even warmer conditions. And same thing the very next day too, we saw one out in a field at about 11am or later and it was nearly 80 degrees. Its a bit cooler over here on the west side but I've still seen them between 9-10am but all my luck has come between 0530-0600 except I can hear them howling more in the early evenings, around 8-830pm & later.
