My brother and I went, wasn't that exciting. Probably 200+ boats on the water and we saw maybe 30 fish caught.

We got 2 and lost 3 more. Biggest fish was 4-5lbs.

The fish aren't chrome and even on light steelhead gear didn't fight much.

I can cross that fishery off the list.

200 boats on Lake Wenatchee. That has to be a sight. I'll bet there was alot of humor at the boat launch ;)
My Father-in-law lives there, probably just beaches his boat in front of the house. I will have to call and see how he did.

The crazy thing is, about 90% of the boats were in an area about 300 yds long. The guys we saw getting fish (ours as well) were out away from the pack. We saw dudes on Jet-skis,and even a sailboat. :chuckle:

The ramp wasn't bad, when we launched at 4:30am. We came back in at about 9 to beat the rush. The wind really started picking up about the time we got the boat back on the trailer. I'm sure when all those boats started heading for the launch it was gonna get ugly. :chuckle:

I have rarely seen that lake when the wind wasn't blowing.

Too bad about the fish.  I figured they would be in better shape still.

calm day on lk. wenatchee, never. really wish dfw would have decided on a later weekend, like the typicall 2nd weekend in august, or give more notice

that sounds about right, saw guys out there in a canoe with an electric trolling motor one year, as well as a kayak once
