My family and I just wanted to say thanks to all the customers and friends I have gotten off of here over the past few years. If it wasn't for you guys it would be tough to make a living doing what I do. You guys and gals are what keeps me going with all the nice compliments I receive and business I get from you all. I really enjoy all the hunting stories and help you have given me and my family. As alot of you know I have been trying my darnedest to build a reputable taxidermy business over the past 5 years, starting from doing the local Puyallup sportsman show for the first 3 and pretty much Hunting-Washigton for the past 3 .
I have been doing Taxidermy for about 12 years , and the past 5 have been starting the business from a part time to somewhat full time the past 2 . In all reality, I'm just getting started and have plans of greater things in the near future as long as things keep rolling as they are even in this poor economy we all have been forced to put up with .
March 14Th 2008 we had our first child (Samantha) which was a feeling that is unbelievable. It is also when I made the decision to quit my full time job, what a decision that was. Since then I have been Daddy daycare/ Taxidermist during the day while the wife is working her full time job as a Vet-Tech (wish she was a vet instead $$ ) which has proven to be a chore but have been able to make it work. And then as of June 2ND 2010 we had our 2ND child (Cody) wow, what a ride ! Kids are just unbelievable! I'm telling you, you just haven't lived until you have a child !
I can say with the new addition its going to be tough to get a ton of work done but hope to keep everything rolling as smooth as I can throughout this next hunting season. Doing the daddy daycare is alot of work in its self ( I have alot of respect to all you Moms out there that do this all the time !) As hunting season gets closer, I start feeling the pressure that is coming to get stuff turned out in the timeframe I set ( a year give or take) I am actually not far from getting everything mounted for this past hunting season, I have about 30 more critters to get done that came in through December , so have patients and hopefully you'll be getting your call soon to come pick up your prize ! I appreciate everyones patients.
I have to thank Michelle Nelson for helping me get a bear rug felted up for me this past year while the wife was pregnant , thank you. You do some nice rugging. And also Joe (Blkbearklr) for coming over and helping me get a bunch of forms prepped and ready for mounting. It was very much appreciated, thank you!
Thanks again for being great customers and people. Its much appreciated and I hope I can help you preserve your trophy's for years to come. Thanks you so very much!
