A big Thanks From Charlie's Taxidermy !
« on: August 07, 2010, 12:22:12 PM »
My family and I just wanted to say thanks to all the customers and friends I have gotten off of here over the past few years. If it wasn't for you guys it would be tough to make a living doing what I do. You guys and gals are what keeps me going with all the nice compliments I receive and business I get from you all. I really enjoy all the hunting stories and help you have given me and my family. As alot of you know I have been trying my darnedest to build a reputable taxidermy business over the past 5 years, starting from doing the local Puyallup sportsman show for the first 3 and pretty much Hunting-Washigton for the past 3 .

I have been doing Taxidermy for about 12 years , and the past 5 have been starting the business from a part time to somewhat full time the past 2 . In all reality, I'm just getting started and have plans of greater things in the near future as long as things  keep rolling as they are even in this poor economy we all have been forced to  put up with .

March 14Th 2008 we had our first child (Samantha) which was a feeling that is unbelievable. It is also when I made the decision to quit my full time job, what a decision that was. Since then I have been Daddy daycare/ Taxidermist during the day while the wife is working her full time job as a Vet-Tech (wish she was a vet instead $$ ) which has proven to be a chore but have been able to make it work. And then as of June 2ND 2010 we had our 2ND child  (Cody) wow, what a ride ! Kids are just unbelievable! I'm telling you, you just haven't lived until you have a child !

I can say with the new addition its going to be tough to get a ton of work done but hope to keep everything rolling as smooth as I can throughout this next hunting season. Doing the daddy daycare is alot of work in its self ( I have alot of respect to all you Moms out there that do this all the time !) As hunting season gets closer, I start feeling the pressure that is coming to get stuff turned out in the timeframe I set ( a year give or take)  I am actually not far from getting everything mounted for this past hunting season, I have about 30 more critters to get done that came in through December , so have patients and hopefully you'll be getting your call soon to come pick up your prize ! I appreciate everyones patients.

I have to thank Michelle Nelson for helping me get a bear rug felted up for me this past year while the wife was pregnant , thank you. You do some nice rugging. And also Joe (Blkbearklr) for coming over and helping me get a bunch of forms prepped and ready for mounting. It was very much appreciated, thank you!

Thanks again for being great customers and people. Its much appreciated and I hope I can help you preserve your trophy's for years to come. Thanks you so very much!

Charlie, you do some of the best taxi work I have ever seen.

Best wishes to you and your family....and your right, you haven't lived till you have kids....it only gets better. (and a lot more expensive  :chuckle:)

All of the taxi's on here are great. I don't have to go far to find one I like....I just have to click.  :chuckle:
Just one more day

Charlie,

You should have no problems keeping up on things. You have a great family and a great wife who stands beside you.

I am always here if you need help in getting forms roughed up so you can continue on. And I know all about the daddy day care so if you need help in that area also all you have to do is call.

Good luck this year and I wish you and the family the best.

Glad to have you as a sponsor Charlie.  You do some of the best work I have seen and I have looked at more mounts than most.  Thanks for your support on the site, and glad to have you here.  I hope we can meet up one of these days.  Take care of those kids of yours.  The ride has just started....I PROMISE.

Charlie - I truly appreciate your work!  You are truly dedicated and have an eye for being a taxidermist.  You have my respect!  You have more than exceeded my expectations on my caribou mount, and I can't thank you enough for that! I am sure you'll do even better on my dad's 3 mounts!  Thank you for all you have done and it's been a pleasure!
