Found my spike
« on: August 09, 2010, 03:35:06 PM »
Well when I was walking in bear hunting I found my spike. He was huge Id guess his back was a foot taller then the cows he was with and his antlers where pushing 3ft. I go a good look at him and man was he in good shape, there wasnt a single branch on his antlers but it looked like there should be. I saw a huge 6x6 black tail too. I just hope that the archery guys wont walk in that far it was pushing 3 miles.

It was a blacktail but that unit they call them all mule deer :dunno:. Ive never seen a archery hunter in that area but you never know someone might get a wild hair. Im kind of wishing I hadnt sold my bow now but I had no choice at the time. If I sale my car ill go archery again if not its the lucky old .338win ill have.
