Bear butcher near Bellevue area
« on: August 10, 2010, 10:58:36 AM »
Looking at getting some bear bacon, sausage, and maybe some jerky made but do not no where to bring it.

Any suggestions?

this is all if I get a bear. I am being proactive instead of being reactive.

The Golden Steer...
Bel-Red and ne 20th or there abouts? Take bel-red beyond 148th, keep going towards 156th and you'll see them on the right hand side.

That is where I took my deer last year. Did a great job on the cut, pepperoni, and the salami. I did not know they did bear as well.

Great, thanks Sir

Just thought about that place again. when you walk in the front the owner has a life size cardboard poster of Obama. I asked him if I could have it, he said no. I think he knew what I was going to do with it. LOL

How is the pricing at Fischer meats? I know I stop in there every now and then to get a cowboy steak and their prices are always really high.

dpends on the size of the bear you get.. probably 150 -200 for a large bear and it also depends on what you want done to it.

I called Linds Meats in Kent a week or two ago, they charge .75/lb for bear cut & wrapped.
