Arrow Moccasins
« on: August 13, 2010, 07:50:30 AM »
I got my second pair of Arrow Moccasins. These are the 4w model with a double sole. My first pair lasted 5 years of constant wear, before they bit the dust.  The moccasins look a bit like a "chukka" boot . They are made with thick chrome tanned leather and very comfortable.
Break-in time is short. I wore these on a grouse hunt yesterday, very quite and easy on the feet. Not water-proof but  "Sno-Seal" or the like can help a bit with that. Even over rocks the moccasins my feet felt fine. When needed you can have this model re-soled .
Arrow Moccasin Co. is  family owned and from Massachusetts. An added plus is when you call you get to talk to a person and excellent customer service. Anyone looking for a light and quite ,rugged pair of hunting or hiking boots would be happy with these.
