Bushnell Trophy Cam 3 week mixed bag.
« on: August 28, 2010, 05:56:30 PM »
This cam works pretty good but I think I need to adjust the sensor. I had over 300 pictures in the last three weeks but there were a lot of photos of critters (or blanks) on the periphery. I have it set at high with a 3 shot burst and only 20 seconds between bursts. It seems to have a pretty fast trigger.

Now I just need to get my second one out in the woods.

The current cam is set up along an old skidder grade on the edge of a clearcut. There is a little swamp and creek behind the cam with multi year clearcuts beyond that.

I was really surprised to only get the one cow. There are about 40 elk in there so I figured I would get more. I am glad the buck is still around and the bear has made it so far. I know of a hunter who had a shot but brought a box of casings ... he could only watch the bear from 100 yards. lol
