I've always avoided ATVs during bowhunting- the ones I see are usually going past me in a cloud of dust after I've spent hours getting someplace...

But at age 65 with a recently fused back and metal knee I'm planning to take Bandaid's Grizzly to Colorado.
We are not renting pack horses this year for CO- found it shorter, simpler and cheaper to get a trespass permit across private land to our camp on the edge of Forest Service land. Hunting will be on shanks mare but hauling the ELK back to the truck will be simplified. 8-)
Here's my ride courtesy of my bride who has used it for 10 years. Just got the cargo rack and trailer which could haul 1200# but not where we are going.

Anybody else getting ready?
