Doswalups rd elk

i have heard good and bad thinks about doswalups rd ( i think thats how u spell it) just north of brinnon, wa. i know it borders the olympic forest and the natives hunt it with the million tags they draw every year, but is it good hunting? i know its washed out and will be for a while but how far in do i need to go to get on a good elk. any help would be appreciated. thank you.

that is in 621 isn't it?  that is special permit only no over the counter tags  :dunno: I'd love to hunt that unit lots of elk  :bash:

621 is a permit only unit for elk. There are no more elk left in that unit, especially no bulls. ;) I have tried for 13 years to pull that for a archery permit, and just can't seem to get one. There are elk up the valley but the hang closer to the private land. The elk run that whole valley from the top to the salt.

The elk tend to hang close or on the private land, fair amount of trespassing happening around there also.
