Brought one out yesterday,  nice 6X6 older bull probably alot bigger the last 2 years.  Ivories worn down to smooth bumps, really large body.  I have some pictures on the mules but nothing else, the shooter will send some kill photos
later.  This was a drop camp, the guys had been hunting since the 3rd. Saw a number of quality bulls but this setup was
not to be passed on 18 yds. I'll get some photos on later. This bull had bases that are huge, I put a nickel in the photo but still hards to see the mass.

Well I was only able to resize one pic.  Said my file was too big I thought that was what Resize was for.  Any way here is the base pic.

Scott, they worked real hard for this one.

Sorry guys, I'm trying to resize but my files are too big.  That base picture still does not relate to the real size of this guy. Can someone else resize for me?  I'll send a couple to you.

This is not a big bull, just real heavy, probably in his last year as his molars were worn pretty bad also, packing alot of fat since the rut just started here.  They were into bulls everyday just could not put it together on a bigger one.

Looks like 270 - 280" to me.. His thirds and fourths aren't very big and short beam length.. It's still a bull which I haven't killed this year though, and I wouldn't be complaining one bit!!

Looks like an old bull alright but not close to 300 in my estimation with those short points. However I saw those guys bootprints all over the tucannon so they earned it!! Its bowhunting so hard to pass a great setup especially after 7 or 8 days in that country. Wish I had some pics of the bulls we passed and saw over there....WOW! Good job nice bull. nwhunter

Mtncook - walleyerick and I were down there this past weekend (you might check his post under "tribal hunting")  Weve got a pretty good idea of what is in store for us. :yike:  I'm real new to this site (even though I've been following it since Wenha trip).  Don't know how to PM yet, but if you can, let me know and we can stay in touch.

Agree with above posts.  Heavy, old bull.  Definitely on the downhill side of his antler growth.  Those short, thick beams and tines happen a lot here in the Blues.  One of the guys that works for me found a beautiful shed last week.  Thick and massive, bur real short tops.  The thing was massive though.  Not many places on the beam where you can wrap your hand around and touch fingers.
