Hey Bone are the bird ones taken from birds in your coop mostly? If so do you raise them for release?

I raise 99% exotic, and most are for sale or egg production, and or pets.  Almost 100% of my stock is for sale purpose.  On occasion one escapes and becomes a pet or coyote bait.  Most are recaptured, some are not.  If its an expensive one, I obviously try harder than on others.  Most of my Ringneck and chukar shots come from "wild" birds from around our home.  We have enough feed and cover and safetyu areas that they like to visit.   We do have a couple as pets from Big R, that also help attract some of the locals with their calls, and we keep them for that enjoyment.

Well thanks for posting the great pictures of them. It's not everyday a guy gets to see the more colorful birds.
