cant afford to run the boat this year, gotta go for plan b.... never ever fished a river before.... what are some good rigs? i just know the samish as a name.... i dont even know where the access points are (except at the mouth).... could i get a samish 101?

Added to your other thread.  fyi read the regs on the samash there are some boyount lure restrictions on it.  As far as access points look for where the 100 people are standing on the bank and where the line of cars are parked along the road.

It's a packed house and they are charging $100 per person to access the area unless you come in through the state land.  I would find a spot on the Skagit and go after silvers.
